In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amaro AD's goalkeeper Moisés Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltazar Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Moisés Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Recife scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Paes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filipe Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Tande having to interfere. When Frédson Recife came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Amaro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Recife couldn't finish the play. Flavinho Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paes having to interfere. Manuel Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Diniz in the 34th minute of the match. Manuel Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Oswaldo Diniz's late challenge caught a SpartacuS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Oswaldo Diniz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Roberto Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Tande skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Baltazar Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SpartacuS's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Oliveira made a kick off. Frédson Recife struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Manuel Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaro AD. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Manuel Paes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Dante during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SpartacuS's Eduardo Dante got a free kick in the 56th minute. Moisés Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Paraibano in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Filipe Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Frédson Recife got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Baltazar Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Tande was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Filipe Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Tande having to interfere. After 79 played minutes SpartacuS got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Rocha. Frédson Recife succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 82nd playminute. Baltazar Luz took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Tande. Moisés Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Flavinho Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Manuel Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SpartacuS's Baltazar Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Amaro AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
