Giuseppe Mattos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Glycerio's goalkeeper Chico Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Cambuquira in the 94th minute of play forced Glycerio's goalkeeper Chico Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
