Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 100) Tactics DC's Rogério Mineiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogério Mineiros short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Luiz Gustavo Matos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 5th minute, Edgard Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Félix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olívio Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Rogério Mineiros short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Luiz Gustavo Matos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Tactics DC booed when Carumbe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Edson Vale notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tactics DC's Olívio Maciel. Olívio Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Trancoso during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Carumbe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Carumbe EC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Mineiro. Luiz Gustavo Matos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Tactics DC's Jefferson Trigo. But to his dismay, Jefferson Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Antônio Carlos Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Carumbe EC's Gustavo Trevisan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rogério Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Gustavo Matos having to make a save. After having played for 38 minutes, Jefferson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Tactics DC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Tactics DC's Olívio Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Félix in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carumbe EC's Cláudio Trancoso got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rogério Mineiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Gustavo Matos. Carumbe EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Carumbe EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tadeu Brodel hit a great ball. Rogério Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luiz Gustavo Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Félix in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arlindo Félix made the kick off in the second half. Edson Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Maciel having to interfere. Guto Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olívio Maciel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Carumbe EC's Arlindo Félix shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Arlindo Félix struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Olívio Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carumbe EC. Tactics DC's Olívio Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Tactics DC from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Tactics DC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edson Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Arlindo Félix took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Olívio Maciel to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Rogério Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Gustavo Matos. Carumbe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Mineiro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Gustavo Matos saved Carumbe EC from getting behind. Olívio Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Félix's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Carumbe EC's Arlindo Félix got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Kléber Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Carumbe EC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tactics DC side.
