The referee ignored Tactics DC's protests and gave Aloísio Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Tactics DC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Maranhense. When Gino Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUSSUARANA FC's protests and gave Gino Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tactics DC booed when SUSSUARANA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Hamílton Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Telmo Esteves made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Rogério Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 45 in the game by Rogério Mineiro from a close distance when the talented Telmo Esteves managed to make a qualified save. SUSSUARANA FC's players were relieved.

Telmo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Mineiro in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SUSSUARANA FC defense, Marcel Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Esteves. The SUSSUARANA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Esteves should have stopped the shot. Kléber Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Telmo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Telmo Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tactics DC. Marcel Lima took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Esteves. Telmo Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Telmo Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The Tactics DC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Tactics DC's Rogério Mineiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olívio Maciel came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SUSSUARANA FC's Fábio Lira. But to his dismay, Fábio Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tactics DC's goalkeeper Olívio Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogério Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience held their breath when Rogério Mineiro in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Telmo Esteves's left hand side. Tactics DC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
