Spectators: 7154 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dedé Zilles got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Descalvados defense, Fábio Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleandro Mesquita. The Descalvados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleandro Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Aleandro Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Lira in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Dedé Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Descalvados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Zilles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo de Medeiros got free with Aleandro Mesquita in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telmo Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Zilles's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Dedé Zilles notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SUSSUARANA FC's Telmo Esteves. Telmo Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, SUSSUARANA FC's Wilson Sergipano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Lucas Porto came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SUSSUARANA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Porto couldn't finish the play. Fábio Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Emerson Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SUSSUARANA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Descalvados the free kick. A collision led to SUSSUARANA FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Emerson Rossi hit a great ball. Eliézer de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Esteves having to interfere. Telmo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SUSSUARANA FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sandro Guerra hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Dedé Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Descalvados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Zilles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Telmo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Descalvados's Aleandro Mesquita got control of the ball when Lucas Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aleandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Lira in the 42nd minute of the match. Edinho Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer de Azevedo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Descalvados were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Lira to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Eliézer de Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Esteves, 1-3. In the 64th minute, Lucas Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SUSSUARANA FC's Telmo Esteves got control of the ball when Dedé Zilles tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, SUSSUARANA FC's goalkeeper Telmo Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Barbosa. Edinho Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Telmo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emerson Rossi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Dedé Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fábio Lira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUSSUARANA FC's protests and gave Fábio Lira a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséias Saraiva during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SUSSUARANA FC booed when Descalvados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Descalvados played a much better game than SUSSUARANA FC and deserved their victory. The SUSSUARANA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
