Ismael Félix took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelson Dante. Philipps FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 played minutes Philipps FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Gerber. Carumbe EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Santana in the 35th minute. Carumbe EC's Edgard Santana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nelson Dante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Philipps FC's Régis Velasco got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Arlindo Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philipps FC's Nelson Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arlindo Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Dante having to interfere. When Carumbe EC's Arlindo Félix in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Philipps FC's goalie prevented a goal. Régis Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Arlindo Félix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Carumbe EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
