The supporters of Descalvados booed when Cejam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleandro Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Maciel in the 9th minute of play. Aleandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Marinho in the 12th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when André Braga put in a rough tackle. Edinho Barbosa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Aleandro Mesquita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Marcelo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer de Azevedo in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dedé Zilles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Santos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Pereira in the 57th minute of play forced Descalvados's goalkeeper Aleandro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Cejam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Zilles in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doriva Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleandro Mesquita having to interfere. Dário Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Cejam FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Marinho. After a rather tough play, Cejam FC's Dário Marinho got a free kick in the 88th minute. 2-0 came in the 94th minute when Tiago Gabriel Matos all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Aleandro Mesquita. For all the effort they put into the match, the Descalvados players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cejam FC.
