An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson da Mata in the 15th minute of play forced Prazeres's goalkeeper Josué Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soad FC's Maurício Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Soad FC from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Soad FC's protests and gave Joel Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Soad FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play.
