Jefferson Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Rogério Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rogério Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tactics DC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Marcel Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Rogério Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tactics DC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Marcel Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Bastos having to interfere. Tactics DC's Rogério Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olívio Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson da Mata in the 30th minute of play. Jefferson Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rogério Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Maurício Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tactics DC. Maurício Bastos came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Tactics DC's Antônio Carlos Meira. But to his dismay, Antônio Carlos Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Soad FC's zone, Rogério Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Bastos came out of the goal and Rogério Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olívio Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogério Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Rogério Mineiro from a close distance when the talented Maurício Bastos managed to make a qualified save. Soad FC's players were relieved. After 56 played minutes Soad FC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Lima. When Rogério Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tactics DC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Baltazar Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Bastos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogério Mineiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 62 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Mineiro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Bastos saved Soad FC from getting behind. Soad FC's Maurício Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Lima in the 82nd minute of play. Rogério Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Maurício Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jefferson Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Rogério Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
