Nelson Dante stood somewhat misplaced when Rogério Mineiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Tactics DC's Guto Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelson Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Rogério Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogério Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Nelson Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Serafim Gerber hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Marcel Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Nelson Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Philipps FC's goalkeeper Nelson Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Mineiro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Nelson Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antônio Carlos Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nelson Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Kléber Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Mineiro in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Dante saved Philipps FC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Rogério Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Nelson Dante. Philipps FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 44th minute, Gonçalo Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nelson Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Mineiro made a kick off. Guto Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Dante having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tactics DC! The goalkeeper, Olívio Maciel, was totally fooled by Philipps FC's Régis Velasco, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Léo Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kléber Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléber Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Dante having to make a save. In the 72nd minute Marcel Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tactics DC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogério Mineiro in the 73rd minute. In the 77th match minute, Philipps FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Lima struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Nelson Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tactics DC. Cesinha do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Nelson Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tactics DC. Nelson Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Lima in the 88th minute of the match. When Guto Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tactics DC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Tactics DC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
