A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Bony.Fc's goal looked a bit too open when André Rosa came free, but Zé Augusto Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Vivaldo Lucas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Augusto Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Bony.Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Penha came free, but Zé Augusto Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente de Queiroz in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Maurinho Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bony.Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bony.Fc's Zé Augusto Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bony.Fc from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Bony.Fc's Zé Augusto Leão got control of the ball when André Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94thth minute of the game Edinho Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bony.Fc's Zé Augusto Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fronteiro SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
