Dedé Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Frank Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Andrézinho Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Sanches shot a long shot in the 20th minute and a light blocked Andrézinho Mandrak hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Lucas Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Arí Severo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Palmeira in the 26th minute of play forced TORMENTO MZFC's goalkeeper Andrézinho Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, TORMENTO MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Palmeira came free, but Andrézinho Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe das Neves's late challenge caught a TORMENTO MZFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paranavai getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Felipe das Neves hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Sanches in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Mandrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Benê Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. TORMENTO MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Arí Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Chaves in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paranavai's goalkeeper Arí Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benê Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paranavai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrézinho Mandrak having to make a save. Lucas Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benê Chaves scored 1-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arí Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
