The Paranavai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hortêncio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Sanches in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Greenback Boogie SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortêncio Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Renato Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hortêncio Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arí Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Renato Sanches dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Zanette, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Sanches got free with Hortêncio Zanette in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Greenback Boogie SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ian da Silveira hit a great ball. Delfim Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Severo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Delfim Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Delfim Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Arí Severo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Greenback Boogie SC's Hortêncio Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe das Neves in the 52nd minute of play. Hortêncio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arí Severo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Delfim Lucas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Paranavai's zone, Waldir Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Severo came out of the goal and Waldir Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Severo having to interfere. If Delfim Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Paranavai's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Vieira came free, but Arí Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Severo having to interfere. Waldir Arantes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Arí Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenback Boogie SC. Delfim Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Delfim Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Severo having to interfere. Waldir Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Severo having to interfere. When Oscar Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranavai's protests and gave Oscar Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Delfim Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodriguinho Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Greenback Boogie SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Vieira couldn't finish the play. Paranavai's Arí Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Paranavai from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Delfim Lucas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arí Severo, passed just outside the right post. If Delfim Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguinho Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arí Severo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Renato Sanches scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Zanette, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, Paranavai could leave the field as winners, despite Greenback Boogie SC having more of the ball for most of the match.
