After 18 minutes, André Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fronteiro SC and the TORMENTO MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. André Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrézinho Mandrak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. André Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Mandrak having to interfere. Leopoldo Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Chaves in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Júlio Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fronteiro SC and the TORMENTO MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Leopoldo Meira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

After having played for 59 minutes, Edinho Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fronteiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TORMENTO MZFC's Benê Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Edinho Penha took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Andrézinho Mandrak to make any attempt to save it. Fronteiro SC's André Rosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered André Rosa off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Fronteiro SC's zone, Lucas Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Meira came out of the goal and Lucas Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Chaves in the 81st minute of play forced Fronteiro SC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leopoldo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Leão struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leopoldo Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TORMENTO MZFC. The Fronteiro SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
