Germano Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bony.Fc booed when Lhoraca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Zé Augusto Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lhoraca. Naldo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bony.Fc's Vítor Freire got a free kick in the 13th minute. Zé Augusto Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Naldo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Lhoraca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Miranda couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Bony.Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Travassos came free, but Zé Augusto Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Téo Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Augusto Leão. Bony.Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Téo Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Diguinho Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Augusto Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lhoraca's Téo Travassos in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bony.Fc's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Naldo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lhoraca's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Augusto Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lhoraca's Luiz Eduardo Braga got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Nilton Barral fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lhoraca's protests and gave Nilton Barral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bony.Fc getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Cordeiro hit a great ball. Zé Augusto Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto de Queirós in the 44th minute of play. Téo Travassos might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Augusto Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo Travassos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Luiz Eduardo Braga made a precise shot to the right of Zé Augusto Leão. Bony.Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

The wind increased when Téo Travassos made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Vicente de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bony.Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Germano Eger came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lhoraca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Eger couldn't finish the play. Zé Augusto Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Travassos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Lhoraca's Germano Eger quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Renatinho Bastos, made in the 61st minute of the game. Ademir Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Zé Augusto Leão made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Téo Travassos sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Leão having to interfere. A hard shot by Nilton Barral from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Zé Augusto Leão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 74th minute Maurinho Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Vítor Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bony.Fc and the Lhoraca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Bony.Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lhoraca:s goal. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Lhoraca. Adalberto de Queirós stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Augusto Leão. 0-4. Téo Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Zé Augusto Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Eduardo Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zé Augusto Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bony.Fc getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wanderson Monteiro hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Lhoraca got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Barral. When the match was over Lhoraca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bony.Fc throughout the match.
