Atlétic Mauhilay AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renato Sanches hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Atlétic Mauhilay AD were awarded a corner. Walmyr Soares went to the cornerflag to take it. Atlétic Mauhilay AD's Walmyr Soares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arí Severo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cafu Barral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arí Severo. That made the score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Atlétic Mauhilay AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Atlétic Mauhilay AD played a much better game than Paranavai and deserved their victory. The Paranavai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
