First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Luiz Fernando Proença who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Caco de Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Dagoberto Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formeto Pro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Equipe booed when Formeto Pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerson Mesquita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Equipe's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo França came free, but Davi Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Equipe defense, Dagoberto Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Tinoco. The Equipe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Tinoco should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Dorian Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Igor Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formeto Pro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Dorian Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco de Amorim having to make a save. Davi Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Pena in the 59th minute. Angelo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Tinoco having to interfere. Joaquim Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Formeto Pro getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Joaquim Pena hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Igor Queiroz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davi Tinoco, 2-3. 77 minutes into the game, Juvenal Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formeto Pro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Equipe the free kick. In the 81st minute, Joaquim Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Caco de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipe. In the 84th minute, Dagoberto Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Angelo França fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo França in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Equipe's Dorian Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Dorian Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Formeto Pro played a much better game than Equipe and deserved their victory. The Equipe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
