The audience was convinced that Juvenal Motta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco de Amorim was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Queiroz in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formeto Pro's Igor Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Micool's Caco de Amorim threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juvenal Motta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute Juvenal Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Leopoldo Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo França made a kick off. Angelo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nelsinho de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Angelo França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo França kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Juvenal Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Durval Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Joaquim Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Formeto Pro booed when Micool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Lucas, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Formeto Pro's Caco de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Paraíba in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Micool's Nelsinho de Almeida got control of the ball when Joaquim Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caco de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Paraíba in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Paraíba in the 95th minute of play forced Formeto Pro's goalkeeper Caco de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Formeto Pro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Micool throughout the match.
