Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jânio Mendonça started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Formeto Pro's Dagoberto Toscano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafa Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Queiroz in the 12th minute of play. Caco de Amorim was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Sandro Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rafa Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo França in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Palmas FC's Sandro Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Palmas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Pena came free, but Rafa Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Formeto Pro getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dagoberto Toscano hit a great ball. Rafa Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo França in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Formeto Pro's Cido Paraense got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Joaquim Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formeto Pro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo França in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Marques saved Palmas FC from getting behind. Rafa Marques made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Igor Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. If Sandro Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Cordeiro in the 70th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Formeto Pro got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Toscano. 74 minutes into the match, Formeto Pro's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Cordeiro came free, but Caco de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Formeto Pro's Joaquim Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Rafa Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo França in the 80th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Formeto Pro got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Tróia. Palmas FC's Eduardo Mandrak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Formeto Pro. In the 90th minute, Dagoberto Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Formeto Pro's Caco de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Cordeiro in the 95th minute of play. Formeto Pro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
