Stunts Sport Club's Paulão Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denílson Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Severino Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stunts Sport Club. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mangaba's goalkeeper Severino Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denílson Bezerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Arósio came out and tried to block the shot, but Denílson Bezerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. José Vítor Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Bezerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Renato Peres made a kick off. José Vítor Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Arósio having to interfere. Severino Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Bezerra in the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Denílson Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Arósio. Mangaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Severino Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Porto in the 59th minute of play. Waldemar Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stunts Sport Club's José Vítor Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Bezerra in the 72nd minute of play. Severino Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Paulo Renato Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84th play minutes José Vítor Porto shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Severino Arósio and just under the crossbar into goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mangaba's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Bezerra came free, but Severino Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stunts Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Vítor Porto took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Arósio. Severino Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Stunts Sport Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
