Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breno Moura started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Caveirão's Duda Senna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Senna in the 6th minute of play forced Jamandua AD's goalkeeper Júlio Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Caveirão got a freekick which was hit by Breno Moura. Jamandua AD's Zé de Barros has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Jamandua AD's Fabrício Seco got a free kick in the 12th minute. Júlio Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Moura in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Otávio Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caveirão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Breno Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Cearense having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Jamandua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé de Barros to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Duarte having to interfere. Jamandua AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caveirão's Diguinho Carneiro got a free kick in the 56th minute. Diguinho Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jamandua AD booed when Caveirão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamandua AD's José Carlos Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Simão during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
