Jamandua AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alan Simão hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Gilmar Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Carlos Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Araújo having to interfere. If José Carlos Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo de Brito hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. José Carlos Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Silas Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamandua AD. Dino Ortiz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. E.C Corinthians Travassos's Silas Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Mello in the 38th minute of play. Silas Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Mello's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. José Vítor Mello in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silas Araújo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gilmar Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jamandua AD's Júlio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Pimenta in the 55th minute of play. When Jamandua AD's José Vítor Mello in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C Corinthians Travassos's goalie prevented a goal. After 61 played minutes Jamandua AD got a freekick which was hit by Gil Martins. E.C Corinthians Travassos's Cláudio Fernandes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Júlio Cearense but with some difficulty. Júlio Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Pimenta in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Marquinhos Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Cearense. The goal made the score 0-2. Júlio Cearense made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Marquinhos Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Luís Guilherme Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Guilherme Dracena hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, José Maria Pimenta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 74 minutes into the match, E.C Corinthians Travassos's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Gaúcho came free, but Silas Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. E.C Corinthians Travassos's Silas Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Saldanha in the 78th minute of play. If Zé de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Araújo having to make a save. After 82 minutes, Silvinho Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C Corinthians Travassos and the Jamandua AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jamandua AD booed when E.C Corinthians Travassos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquinhos Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Cearense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marquinhos Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro da Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Cearense, 0-3. In the 95th minute, José Vítor Mello made a precise shot to the right of Silas Araújo. E.C Corinthians Travassos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of E.C Corinthians Travassos were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Jamandua AD side.
