Caveirão's Samuel Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Bezerra in the 6th minute of play. Duda Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Denílson Bezerra scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Breno Moura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Rodriguinho Maranhense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Porto in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes in the game, Breno Moura fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodriguinho Maranhense having to interfere. The Caveirão fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Caveirão's Otávio Mazza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 31 minutes, Breno Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caveirão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes in the game, Otávio Mazza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodriguinho Maranhense having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Caveirão's Breno Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Otávio Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Maranhense having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio Mazza. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Denílson Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. Percival Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stunts Sport Club's zone, Breno Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Maranhense came out of the goal and Breno Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Otávio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Denílson Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Stunts Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Samuel Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Denílson Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stunts Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77thth minute of the game Breno Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stunts Sport Club's Rodriguinho Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Paulão Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stunts Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caveirão the free kick. After 85 played minutes Stunts Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Velasco. Rodriguinho Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Moura in the 86th minute of the match. Stunts Sport Club's Rodriguinho Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Moura in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Otávio Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomé Velloso's late challenge caught a Caveirão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stunts Sport Club's Tomé Velloso got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Caveirão players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
