José Vítor Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rodriguinho Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Rosado hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match José Vítor Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho Maranhense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zé de Barros struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Rodriguinho Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamandua AD. Rodriguinho Maranhense was a little too slow when Zé de Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Stunts Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Vítor Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stunts Sport Club's zone, José Vítor Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Maranhense came out of the goal and José Vítor Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Jamandua AD's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Bezerra came free, but Júlio Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stunts Sport Club booed when Jamandua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stunts Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when José Vítor Mello scored to the left of an out of position Rodriguinho Maranhense, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Stunts Sport Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fabinho Cearense hit a great ball. If Zé de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denílson Bezerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Stunts Sport Club's Tomé Velloso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rodriguinho Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vítor Mello went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute José Carlos Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fabrício Seco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes, Stunts Sport Club's Rubens Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Cearense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stunts Sport Club reached it. If José Carlos Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Júlio Cearense made a huge save. Júlio Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Vítor Porto in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Saldanha in the 86th minute of play forced Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulão Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júlio Cearense. That made the score 3-2 in the 89 minute of play. Jamandua AD's José Vítor Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Jamandua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Denílson Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamandua AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
