Leonardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Régis Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Enol in the 10th minute of the match. Rüdiger Herz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Reis in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Enol in the 17th minute of play forced GHELMAN FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22nd play minutes Guido Enol shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Leonardo Maranhense and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leonardo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Hortêncio de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GHELMAN FC and the Luminosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hortêncio de Moraes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Alberto Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Enol in the 34th minute of play forced GHELMAN FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Enol's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the GHELMAN FC defense, Guido Enol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Maranhense. The GHELMAN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Maranhense should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Enol in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, GHELMAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu de Souza to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Enol was the one to do the kick off. GHELMAN FC's Leonardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Enol in the 56th minute of play. Leonardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Luminosa fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Luminosa's Guido Enol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 74 minutes, Guido Enol made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. GHELMAN FC's Leonardo Maranhense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Maranhense came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Luminosa's Guido Enol. But to his dismay, Guido Enol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 94 minutes in the game, Guido Enol dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of GHELMAN FC booed when Luminosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Luminosa were the better team. Luminosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
