In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Immortals's goalkeeper Amadeu Brodel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Edmílson Esteves made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo De La Mata's goalkeeper Váldson Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Messias. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Bueno in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Váldson Hermes saved Deportivo De La Mata from getting behind. In the 60th minute Daniel Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Chiquinho Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
