The penalty shot was made by Wilson de Brito, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Immortals's Amadeu Brodel. 0-1. Giuseppe Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Linares came out of the goal and Daniel Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Paraense's late challenge caught a Immortals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Galáticos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Paraense to maneuver through the defense. When André Luís Branco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Galáticos Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Branco couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Paulo Antunes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Immortals's Amadeu Brodel. Amadeu Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Tales de Brito came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Immortals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales de Brito couldn't finish the play. Váldson Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Chiquinho Messias struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Vitório Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Immortals. Immortals's Amadeu Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Antunes in the 58th minute of play. Amadeu Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Antunes in the 60th minute of play. André Luís Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Brodel having to interfere. If Daniel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Chiquinho Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luís Branco in the 76th minute. A collision led to Galáticos Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Giuseppe Dracena hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Immortals's Luiz Fábio Machado got a free kick in the 81st minute. Paulo Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Branco got free with Amadeu Brodel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Paulo Antunes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Galáticos Futebol Clube's Paulo Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Immortals supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galáticos Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Galáticos Futebol Clube.
