Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tião das Neves kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Tião das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Salles was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Mataruca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gustavo Salles was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cícero Teles. In the 25th minute, Tião das Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute, Flamengo Paranaense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tião das Neves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Salles having to interfere. Gustavo Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião das Neves in the 37th minute of the match. Gustavo Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tião das Neves sped through Flamengo Paranaense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Salles. Flamengo Paranaense's Giovanni Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Cacá Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mataruca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo Paranaense the free kick. After 91 played minutes Mataruca got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Aparecido. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo Paranaense's zone, Cristian do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Salles came out of the goal and Cristian do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
