Palmeiras Piatã FC's Silvinho Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Naldo da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo De La Mata's Váldson Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Deportivo De La Mata getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Clóvis Cosme hit a great ball. Olívio de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Váldson Hermes made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Iuri Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olívio de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo De La Mata succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Palmeiras Piatã FC had controlled the match.
