Aporema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moju the free kick. José Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Alagoano in the 12th minute of play forced Aporema's goalkeeper Chico Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Aporema's goalkeeper Chico Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Bezerra. Chico Luz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Marcelo Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Gonçalves in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Gonçalves in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dudu Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Bezerra scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chico Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Angelo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aporema's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudu Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moju's Dudu Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Reis in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, José Augusto Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee ignored Moju's protests and gave Nuno Britto a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Moju got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Britto. Moju's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
