Spectators: 7182 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Veiga got the match started through his kick off. After 10th play minutes Jacinto Veiga shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Arlindo Tande and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Veiga in the 18th minute of play forced EC Copero y Peleador's goalkeeper Arlindo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Santana in the 28th minute of play forced EC Copero y Peleador's goalkeeper Arlindo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes, Dragões Vermelhos's Adelino Santana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arlindo Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dragões Vermelhos reached it. Arlindo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, Yan Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Santana scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arlindo Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Santana went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Dragões Vermelhos's Jacinto Veiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arlindo Tande. That made the score 0-5 after 59 minutes of play. Mathias Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alan Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EC Copero y Peleador's Zé Roberto Jacinto was substituted for Cláudio França. After a rather tough play, EC Copero y Peleador's Kléber Palmeira got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eusébio Santanas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Arlindo Tande to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Norberto Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Copero y Peleador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in EC Copero y Peleador's zone, Eusébio Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Tande came out of the goal and Eusébio Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, EC Copero y Peleador's Duda Diniz got a free kick in the 78th minute. The long shot by Doni Pires in the 79th minute really tested Arlindo Tande's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Dragões Vermelhos's Doni Pires got a free kick in the 80th minute. Arlindo Tande made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jacinto Veiga sent off a good shot on target. Arlindo Tande came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragões Vermelhos's Eusébio Santana. But to his dismay, Eusébio Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 97th minute, Adelino Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dragões Vermelhos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
