Carlos Fernando Sousa's late challenge caught a Aporema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernando Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aporema booed when Real P.Q.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Vianna sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dário Quirino threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Carlinhos Vianna this time. Dário Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Gonçalves in the 17th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Angelo Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Real P.Q.D got a freekick which was hit by Enéas de Lima. After a defensive mix-up in Real P.Q.D's zone, Zé Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Quirino came out of the goal and Zé Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Angelo Gonçalves notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Real P.Q.D's Dário Quirino. Dário Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Reis in the 62nd minute of the match. With splendid footwork Mathias Valladares arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-3 by the left pole in the game's 64th minute. Real P.Q.D's Isaltino Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aporema's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Isaltino Souza scored to the left of an out of position Chico Luz, making the score, 2-4. Carlinhos Vianna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dário Quirino. Real P.Q.D's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Valladares in the 78th minute of play forced Aporema's goalkeeper Chico Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Angelo Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aporema fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Angelo Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dário Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aporema. Chico Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ferraz in the 90th minute of the match. Jorge Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Chico Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isaltino Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Aporema fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real P.Q.D were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
