Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mathias Negri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Capivary EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EC Copero y Peleador:s goal. Arlindo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EC Copero y Peleador's Arlindo Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save EC Copero y Peleador from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arlindo Tande made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Tavares during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Capivary EC got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Moreno. If Norberto Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norberto Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Deivid de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arlindo Tande made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Mathias Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half EC Copero y Peleador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Vieira made a kick off. Arlindo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Correia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute Gildo de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Júlio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capivary EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Deivid de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Paulo Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivary EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Michel da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Correia in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Capivary EC booed when EC Copero y Peleador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes, Capivary EC's Valdomiro Moreno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arlindo Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capivary EC reached it. In the 88thth minute of the game Júlio Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Copero y Peleador's Arlindo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
