When Moju's Marcelo Bezerra in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Cruz FC's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Vieira in the 12th minute of the match. Moju's Nuno Britto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Santa Cruz FC. Waldemar Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Santa Cruz FC defense, José Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Dionísio. The Santa Cruz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Dionísio should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Ramalho having to interfere. Décio Arce struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dudu Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Cruz FC. Waldemar Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Branco in the 40th minute of play forced Santa Cruz FC's goalkeeper Waldemar Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
