After 10 played minutes Real P.Q.D got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Sousa. 14 minutes into the match, BOLA MURCHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Valladares came free, but Jeferson Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real P.Q.D's Mathias Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Real P.Q.D's goalkeeper Dário Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Cearense. Genílson Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jeferson Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Ferraz in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Corrêa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jerônimo Cearense took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Quirino. Dário Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Mathias Valladares notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BOLA MURCHA FC's Jeferson Marquez. Jeferson Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Quirino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Durval Marinho. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jano Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeferson Marquez was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Genílson Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real P.Q.D fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano Lopes couldn't finish the play. Real P.Q.D's Dário Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Cearense in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Mandrak in the 76th minute of play forced Real P.Q.D's goalkeeper Dário Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Fernando Sousa during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
