Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) After having played for 5 minutes, Filipe Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipaussu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Júlio Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipaussu's protests and gave Júlio Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Júlio Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Ipaussu got a freekick which was hit by João Neves. Dé de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Washington da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bengalas. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Silvinho Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipaussu's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Filipe Velasco could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. In the 29th minute, Ipaussu's Filipe Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Moura. Paulo Moura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Silvinho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Moura having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Filipe Velasco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paulo Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Narciso Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bengalas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipaussu the free kick. The supporters of Ipaussu booed when Bengalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dé de Mendonça to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Bengalas were awarded a corner. William Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that William Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Washington da Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicolas Barreto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Dé de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bengalas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipaussu the free kick. Dé de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ipaussu's Filipe Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Moura having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Filipe Velasco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Bengalas's Paulo Moura. Paulo Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ipaussu had played much better football throughout.
