Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaká Cardoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Lira got free with Nildo Arruda in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Tri Mundial MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Freitas came free, but Gilmar de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tri Mundial MZC's goalkeeper Gilmar de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cipriano Lira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nildo Arruda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cipriano Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nildo Arruda made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cipriano Lira sent off a good shot on target. Esporte Clube Vitória's Nildo Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Vitória from getting a goal against them. Kaká Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nildo Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tri Mundial MZC. After having played for 37 minutes, Fernandinho Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Vitória's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tri Mundial MZC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sebastião Lara hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Enio Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Cipriano Lira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nildo Arruda. 1-0. Cipriano Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Arruda having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fernandinho Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nildo Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio Prestes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar de Almeida. Gilmar de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kaká Cardoso scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tri Mundial MZC's Kaká Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enio Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Arruda came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tri Mundial MZC's Cipriano Lira. But to his dismay, Cipriano Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kaká Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nildo Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Cipriano Lira notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Esporte Clube Vitória's Nildo Arruda. Nildo Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
