A collision led to Barcelona getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dênis Campidelis hit a great ball. Time Ruim's Joaquim Mattos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barcelona. After a defensive mix-up in Time Ruim's zone, Nilmar Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino dos Santos came out of the goal and Nilmar Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Time Ruim! The referee gave Barcelona a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juvenal Guerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Time Ruim's Severino dos Santos. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo José Cerezo. Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luís Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Severino dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pedro Luís Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona's Paulo José Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Michel Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernando de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score was now 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Fernandes came free, but Paulo José Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando de Souza struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Severino dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona. Severino dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Luz in the 77th minute of play. Matheus Vides's late challenge caught a Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheus Vides helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Time Ruim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fernando de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando de Souza couldn't finish the play. If Dênis Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Luz took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino dos Santos. Severino dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Barcelona's Nilmar Luz suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Luiz Eduardo Meira's late challenge caught a Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Meira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Time Ruim's Luiz Eduardo Meira got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Time Ruim players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barcelona from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
