In the 35th minute Leonardo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Motta came free, but Alan Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Ulysses Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sumemo FC's Olavo Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Leonardo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Motta made a kick off. Rogério Paraíba tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alan Almeida. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulysses Martins got free with Olavo Baptista in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hélder Coutinho's late challenge caught a Metolokos MZ Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Sumemo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Arantes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Norberto Vinhas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olavo Baptista. Sumemo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Sumemo FC's goalkeeper Olavo Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Martins. Luís Guilherme Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute.
