Spectators: 5147 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mané Fonseca made the kick off which started today's match. If Ernani Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Miranda got free with Yuri Arósio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15thth minute of the game Mané Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vinicius's Yuri Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mané Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Arósio having to interfere. Alexandre's Edu Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Senna in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Arí Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre's Dieguinho Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Miranda got free with Yuri Arósio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dieguinho Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Mané Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Yuri Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Fonseca in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre's Dieguinho Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuri Arósio. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, vinicius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Murillo Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. vinicius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandre the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernani Senna to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Basílio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match Christian Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edu Rosado skillfully saved the ball. After 57 played minutes Alexandre got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Capixaba. In the 58th minute, vinicius's Ernani Senna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edu Rosado. Edu Rosado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. If Basílio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Capixaba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Ernani Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edu Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Yuri Arósio came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alexandre's Dieguinho Miranda. But to his dismay, Dieguinho Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dieguinho Miranda struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Yuri Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandre. When Dieguinho Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Alexandre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Miranda couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Mané Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexandre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Miranda in the 86th minute of the match. Dieguinho Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yuri Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. vinicius's Yuri Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Miranda in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Mané Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
