Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Dieguinho Miranda put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Chaves. Fábio Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edu Rosado was a little too slow when Fábio Veiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Alexandre's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Veiga came free, but Edu Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The long shot by Mathias Netto in the 28th minute really tested Edu Rosado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Panellas's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Miranda came free, but Marcelo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Dieguinho Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Panellas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Umberto de Queiroz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mané Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandre's supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Ademir Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Fábio Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edu Rosado. Fábio Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After the first half Alexandre were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Fonseca made a kick off. Cícero Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Rosado having to interfere. When Fábio Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Panellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Veiga couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dieguinho Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandre's supporters rose to their feet, but Dieguinho Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes Panellas got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Mendonça. The audience held their breath when Caio do Valle in the 57th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marcelo Chaves's left hand side. In the 60th minute, Pedro Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Fonseca in the 61st minute of play forced Panellas's goalkeeper Marcelo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fábio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Panellas's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Fonseca came free, but Marcelo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Alexandre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Senna to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Sergipano's late challenge caught a Panellas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. 88 minutes into the game, Cícero Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Edu Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Haroldo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Seco struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Edu Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panellas. When Caio do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandre's protests and gave Caio do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Caio do Valle hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Alexandre failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
