Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octavio Egoi kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, one of Clube Athletico Paulinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Athletico Paulinho. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Panellas's Fábio Veiga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Thiago Volpi. In the 12th minute, Octavio Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Athletico Paulinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 15th minute, Octavio Egoi made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Chaves. Panellas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thiago Volpi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho de Azevedo in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Fábio Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Athletico Paulinho's goalkeeper Thiago Volpi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Volpi was a little too slow when Zézinho de Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-2. When Paulinho Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Athletico Paulinho's protests and gave Paulinho Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Cícero Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Volpi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cícero Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the game, Panellas's Zézinho de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Volpi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Zézinho de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Thiago Volpi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, one of Clube Athletico Paulinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Veiga was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Veiga in the 52nd minute of play forced Clube Athletico Paulinho's goalkeeper Thiago Volpi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Athletico Paulinho's Thiago Volpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho de Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. Zé Roberto Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcelo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Clube Athletico Paulinho's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho de Azevedo came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Egoi in the 67th minute. If Fábio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho de Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Volpi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Helger Nurmik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marcelo Chaves made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Seco in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube Athletico Paulinho's goalkeeper Thiago Volpi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Volpi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Panellas's Zézinho de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Zézinho de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Fábio Veiga struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Thiago Volpi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panellas. 94 minutes into the match, Clube Athletico Paulinho's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho de Azevedo came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Fábio Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Volpi was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Panellas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
