Luisão Lima started the match with the kick off. Celsinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Celsinho Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Tróia in the 7th minute of play forced Porto F.C.'s goalkeeper Vicente Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Lima in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Celsinho Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Ulysses Martins came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Metolokos MZ Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Martins couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Porto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Martins came free, but Vicente Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murillo da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Porto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Murillo da Fonseca. Celsinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Metolokos MZ Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Paraíba. If Ulysses Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysses Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vicente Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Guilherme Tróia made a kick off. 0-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Ulysses Martins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Cristiano Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Luís Guilherme Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 66 minutes into the game, Celsinho Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alan Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Porto F.C.'s Vicente Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Porto F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luisão Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisão Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 76 minutes, Gerson Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisão Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Porto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, one of Metolokos MZ Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Metolokos MZ Clube. In the 97th minute, Celsinho Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Lima came free, but Alan Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metolokos MZ Clube were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Porto F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
