Daniel Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Vargas in the 7th minute of the match. Fábio Veiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Daniel Passos 8 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Passos having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Gino Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcelo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes in the game, Fábio Veiga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Daniel Passos having to interfere. Fábio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Daniel Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Chants of Guarujá F.C echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Panellas had held the ball for most of the match.
