Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Guilherme Tróia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fábio Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Metolokos MZ Clube's Ulysses Martins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Chaves. Marcelo Chaves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alan Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Alan Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Zézinho de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Rogério Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metolokos MZ Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panellas the free kick. In the 18th minute, Rogério Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Vargas struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alan Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panellas. Zézinho de Azevedo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Almeida. Alan Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cícero Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alan Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Catarinense's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alan Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Paraíba was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Panellas booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panellas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cícero Seco hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Fábio Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Ulysses Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metolokos MZ Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Panellas's goalkeeper Marcelo Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Martins. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Veiga to make the kick off. Cícero Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cícero Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho de Azevedo in the 60th minute. Fábio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alan Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida got control of the ball when Jaime Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho de Azevedo came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alan Almeida could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Metolokos MZ Clube's Juan Prestes got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Zézinho de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alan Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alan Almeida. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Cícero Seco got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Panellas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cícero Seco hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Vivaldo Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan Almeida. The goal made the score 1-3. Fábio Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alan Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panellas. Zézinho de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Alan Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Metolokos MZ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Tróia to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Panellas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Metolokos MZ Clube.
