But to his dismay, Luís Guilherme Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 35th match minute, Clube Athletico Paulinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Penha to maneuver through the defense. Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Egoi in the 43rd minute of play. Octavio Egoi scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alan Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Egoi made a kick off. The supporters of Clube Athletico Paulinho booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Athletico Paulinho's Thiago Volpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Tróia in the 54th minute of play. Helger Nurmik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Helger Nurmik came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Clube Athletico Paulinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helger Nurmik couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Luís Guilherme Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Volpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Clube Athletico Paulinho's Paulinho Rodrigues made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Helger Nurmik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Octavio Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alan Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
