Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Motta started the match with the kick off. Luís Guilherme Tróia got in the 3rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Olavo Baptista handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Wilian Souto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Almeida having to make a save. In the 10th minute, Leonardo Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumemo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alan Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Souto in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Leonardo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Almeida having to make a save. Leonardo Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sumemo FC's zone, Ulysses Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Baptista came out of the goal and Ulysses Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Motta in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Almeida saved Metolokos MZ Clube from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Metolokos MZ Clube's Elder Catarinense got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Sumemo FC's goalkeeper Olavo Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Martins. When Nelson Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Sumemo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Arantes couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Sumemo FC booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sumemo FC's Hélder Coutinho got a free kick in the 59th minute. A hard shot 62 in the game by Wilian Souto from a close distance when the talented Alan Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Metolokos MZ Clube's players were relieved. Olavo Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulysses Martins went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida got control of the ball when Wilian Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Juan Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metolokos MZ Clube's protests and gave Juan Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. Wilian Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alan Almeida made a huge save. Sumemo FC's Olavo Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Martins in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
