Luís Fábio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Tiago Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard de Senna struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Claudinei Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exaltacao SS. Claudinei Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
