Hortêncio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Peres in the 7th minute of the match. Joga 10's Adhemar Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Hortêncio Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hortêncio Amorim made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Oswaldo Sanches sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Sanches got free with Hortêncio Amorim in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Jailson Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Mangueira in the 28th minute of play forced Joga 10's goalkeeper Hortêncio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Joga 10's Wilson Maia got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Sanches recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hortêncio Amorim. Oswaldo Sanches showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Oswaldo Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hortêncio Amorim made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Téo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Mendes to make the kick off. The supporters of Joga 10 booed when Giovana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus Linhares scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Guilherme Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 minutes, Jailson Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giovana F.C. and the Joga 10 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Giovana F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jailson Mangueira hit a great ball. Adhemar Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Barral hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adhemar Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Nunes having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Téo Dante put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Giovana F.C.. Enrique da Rocha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hortêncio Amorim. 2-1. Hortêncio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Peres in the 74th minute of play. Hortêncio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Mangueira in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Joga 10's Serafim Neto got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jailson Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Mendes got free with Luís Guilherme Nunes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Luís Guilherme Nunes made a huge save. Carlos Augusto Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luís Guilherme Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Matheus Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga 10's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hortêncio Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
