When Gláuber Torres came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paraty F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Torres couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Paraty F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Saldanha came free, but Romeu Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Murillo Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Torres made a kick off. Paraty F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itatira SC the free kick. After 82 played minutes Paraty F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Arce. 84 minutes into the match, Paraty F.C.'s Gláuber Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráusio Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
